This month with the financial crisis continuing to ram the global economy, GoodB is glad to  report on Google's GoodB Star Rating for good business category of Profits & Purpose:

Google's entire business model is based on an economy of trust. Google's phenomenal success came with an ironic twist to the traditional model of profits first. Google began with a common good purpose by creating a state of the art search engine that cost nothing to consumers. At the time, in the mid 1990s, many search engines around competiting for market share. Yahoo was a direct rival and also an email provider. Yet Yahoo's search results were predicated on whomever paid for the rankings. Word got around the net that Google's were objective, not purchased or subjective. Hence in Google we trust became the secret to the Fortune 500's extraordinary rise to number one in search. In 2009, Google remains that most trusted search engine on the web.
